Does CBD oil really work? Here’s what 1,950 of you said.
At Sunsoil, we are always looking to learn how we can serve you better.
We recently emailed our annual survey to gather input from you, Sunsoil’s customers, to understand how we can improve. We use the survey results as an input into our roadmap.
For instance, when we surveyed our customers last year, we were surprised to learn that 4 out of 10 people had cut back on their CBD use due to rising inflation and financial hardship. In response, we accelerated our plans to reduce prices on our products — cutting prices by up to 40% on various products.
This year’s survey gathered responses from over 1,950 participants. Here’s what we learned.
Your Sunsoil routines
When asked about the frequency of CBD usage, nearly half of respondents (49 percent) said they use CBD once per day, and an additional 26 percent use CBD multiple times a day.
How much CBD is the average person taking at a time?
Although this varies by individual, about half of respondents take 20 mg of CBD oil at a time. Another one in four (25 percent) respondents takes more than 20 mg of CBD at a time.
Why do people take Sunsoil?
Survey respondents were initially allowed to pick as many reasons as they wanted. The most frequently chosen options were sleep, pain, and stress, in that order.
The 1,967 respondents to this question selected 2.7 reasons on average, showing that many people experience multiple benefits from CBD.
When asked their primary reason for taking CBD, the leading reasons were pain, stress, and sleep. Interestingly, sleep is not the primary reason why people take Sunsoil, even though it is the most commonly experienced benefit.
What does CBD replace?
We’d heard that for many of our customers, Sunsoil CBD oil has replaced their use of other products or medications.

Of the 1,438 respondents who said they previously took an over-the-counter or prescription medication, an astonishing 81 percent said they have reduced or eliminated use of that medication as a result of taking CBD oil.
Tylenol (acetaminophen) and Advil (ibuprofen) and other anti-inflammatory medications, in addition to various over-the-counter sleep aids, were the most commonly cited.
How we’re using this information
As we continue our journey of making affordable, high quality CBD, your input is essential.
For starters, learning how you take Sunsoil — and what you find it useful for — can be helpful to people who are new to, or curious about, CBD.
The results also provide our team with valuable insight in making decisions and products that will best serve our customers’ needs and budgets.
To all those who participated in the survey, a heartfelt thank you from our team. We read every one of your responses, and they were a great reminder of the impact that high-quality CBD oil can have.
