Supply Chain Planner
This position is a hybrid of traditional production planning, sourcing, and procurement. You will be responsible for the operational execution of raw material supplier and manufacturing partner supply chains to ensure finished goods availability and will play a key role in developing and administering Sunsoil’s innovation supply chains. Through your daily activities, you will mitigate upstream supply chain exposure by identifying supply chain risks, constraints, and inefficiencies, while outlining business recommendations and managing timely action plans. Social Media Manager
The social media manager will have a strong foundation in the broad social media ecosystem (multiple platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube) and will be motivated to drive our brand digitally in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. This individual will be energized by working in a still-developing category and by wearing many different hats (with a relentless focus on driving brand awareness and customer acquisition). Our social media manager will collaborate with sales, marketing and e-commerce (to ensure strategy alignment) and will be responsible for authentically and effectively sharing Sunsoil’s brand and story. Our ideal candidate is results-oriented and has an infectious obsession with social engagement. The staff accountant role will be primarily responsible for Sunsoil’s daily and monthly accounting tasks. An ideal candidate is one who can work well with ambiguity, seeks to optimize processes, and has strong problem-solving and reasoning capabilities. Attention to detail and advanced Microsoft Excel skills are a must. This role will report to the accounting manager and will support all areas of the business. Harvest Crew Members
At Sunsoil, our harvest crew members will assist in the process of harvesting hemp in one or both of our farm locations: Hardwick and Hyde Park, VT. The crew will be given oversight by the site manager and lead Sunsoil employees. This employment offer is non-exempt, seasonal and full or part time dependent upon the needs of the business as well as applicant’s availability. Harvest tasks may start as early as the end of August and end as late as early November. It is a seven day per week operation until completion. We pay an hourly rate of $20.00 per hour. Primary responsibilities include collecting and carrying cut plants, hanging plants in drying barns, processing dried hemp, daily cleanup and general field maintenance.
