How to Use Our CBD Coconut Oil

alt text

Our CBD coconut oil contains just two, certified organic ingredients: hemp and coconut oil. Additionally, our coconut oil certified cruelty-free. We've rounded up our top tips on getting the most out of this unique product.

Here’s what you need to know.

1. Use It How You Like

There are many ways to use this product. Since it has a base of virgin coconut oil with no additives, you can easily:

Mix It Into Food Or Drink

CBD coconut oil can be added to food or drinks. Some of our customers add it into their morning coffee and use a milk frother to incorporate the oil. Others blend the oil into smoothies.

Take It Sublingually

Place the CBD coconut oil under your tongue and let it sit for at least 30 seconds before swallowing.

Rub It In

If you’re dealing with sore muscles or joints, you can rub it directly onto the affected area (just be sure to let it absorb well, as the oil can stain). One customer told us that after a hike or run they split one scoop in half and rub into each knee or any other part that may be achy.

For Your Pets

Our coconut oil is also safe to give your pets. Put it on a treat or add it to their food. Many customers report that their pups don’t mind the taste.

2. Keep it Cool

This product is made using virgin coconut oil, which can turn liquid and change color at temperatures above 74°F. If this happens to you, don't worry. To get it back to a firmer consistency, just pop it in the fridge.

3. Measure What You Need

Your jar of coconut oil comes with a 1 ml measuring scoop. One full scoop contains 20 mg of CBD, which is our recommended serving. If you can’t find your scoop, you can use a quarter teaspoon instead, which is 1.2 ml.

4. Apply Topically With Care

While our CBD coconut oil is a great topical option, it’s not a typical lotion or balm—so it should be applied with extra care. Our product does not have a lotion- or cream-like consistency but instead has an oil base. Do remember to let the oil absorb well, as it can stain clothing.

Additionally, the coconut oil has a very hemp-forward smell as no scents are added in.

While other CBD topicals contain emulsifiers, fragrances and other synthetic additives, Sunsoil’s CBD coconut oil contains simple, straightforward ingredients.

CBD isn’t one-size-fits-all, and it’s common to have questions when you’re starting out. If there’s anything you’d like to know, please don’t hesitate to ask. Write to us at info@sunsoil.com, and our team will be happy to help.
