What to Know Before Taking CBD Capsules

alt text

Our capsules and softgels provide a convenient way to take your daily serving of CBD. If you're thinking about trying them for the first time, we want to make sure you get the most out of the experience. So, we’ve rounded up our top tips to help get you started.

Here’s what you need to know:

Time it Right

Taking CBD before a meal (especially a meal containing healthy fats) helps promote absorption. Just swallow your capsule with a little water.

Low and Slow

Taking Sunsoil in a capsule provides longer lasting—but generally milder—effects than taking drops. (We call it "low and slow.") How frequently you take a capsule, and how many you take, is up to you. For some people it’s once a day, and for others it’s every 4 hours. A good place to start is with one capsule in the morning and one at night. Then, you can increase or decrease your frequency or serving size as needed.

Understand the Label

Take a look at the front of your bottle. Our labels state how much CBD is in each serving (one capsule), as well as how much CBD is in the full bottle. What capsules lack in flexibility relative to drops (it's harder to take a half-serving), they make up for in convenience. They're great on-the-go, and also provide consistently measured servings of CBD.

Give it Time

Some people feel the effects of CBD the first time that they take it. But for some of us, it can take a few days or even weeks for the benefits to become noticeable. The process can be gradual, and it’s normal not to notice a change at first. Stick with it.

Don’t be Afraid to Ask

CBD isn’t one-size-fits-all, and it’s common to have questions when you’re starting out. If there’s anything you’d like to know, please don’t hesitate to ask. Just write us at info@sunsoil.com, and our team will be happy to help.
